Well… here we are.

This is the beginning of something I’ve been thinking about for a little while now: sharing my music with the world.
Music has always been something I’ve loved, but for a long time it was something I enjoyed quietly. A way for me to explore my emotions without having to rely on others. I took quite a long break from playing my guitar after a life-changing event (story for another time), but thankfully, I found the strength to pick it back up and start playing again.
Somewhere along the way, though, I started wondering what might happen if I actually took it seriously.
So, that’s what I’m doing.
I’m starting this journey as an independent artist, beginning with songs that mean something to me and gradually working towards creating and releasing more of my own music.
You’ll find covers here, original songs, behind-the-scenes moments, stories about how particular songs came to be, and probably a fair amount of me figuring things out as I go.
I want this page to be more than just somewhere I post announcements. I want it to be a place where I can share the stories behind the music — why I chose a particular song, what it means to me, how something was recorded, what went wrong along the way (because I’m sure there’ll be plenty of that!), and eventually, what goes into writing and recording my own songs.
There’s something pretty exciting about not knowing exactly where this is going yet.
Right now, I’m at the very beginning. I’m learning, experimenting, recording, releasing, and trying to become a better musician with every song.
My first releases are only the start.
